Message from Conference Organizers
In developing the program, our foremost goal is to organize a remarkable scientific agenda at the forefront of the field, which will excite and energize all participants. We are emphasizing key questions which reflect our perception of how this field is evolving towards translational medicine and new biological discovery:
1) What are the recent successes, using proteomics for clinical applications, including biomarker discovery, clinical laboratory assays, and new targeted therapeutics?
2) What do investigators need to know, in order to design their experimental strategies to maximize biological insight, despite inherent limitations in sampling depth?
3) What should investigators do with their 'lists' of candidates from hard-won proteomics screens? How should they use the results of their work to go beyond profiling, and have true impact on discovery and diagnostics?
4) What are the research activities funded by NIH centers in proteomics, and progress so far?
We will be updating this page soon with a list of invited and plenary speakers. Below is a preliminary list of session topics. We look forward to your participation in our 6th annual conference!
Thank you.
