US HUPO recognizes that its members come together from a variety of backgrounds and responsibilities. US HUPO is pleased to offer a limited number of members financial support up to $500 to offset the additional family and child care costs associated with attendance at the annual conference (e.g., additional travel costs for supporting family members, additional childcare costs or similar).

US HUPO is pleased to announce that we are offering five (5) travel awards to attend US HUPO 2025 in Philadelphia, PA. The undergraduate travel award allows presenters early in their careers to grow professionally by attending educational sessions, networking, and developing professional relationships with colleagues.
The US HUPO travel award will include complimentary conference registration, two (2) nights of hotel accommodations, and $500 cash for additional conference-related expenses.
Application Criteria
Who is eligible? US HUPO undergraduate and post-bac students.
What are the selection criteria?
To apply for the award, please submit the following documents:
1) A letter of recommendation from your PI
2) Your completed abstract submission OR your preliminary abstract that will be submitted during the late breaker period (January 6-15, 2025) for US HUPO 2025
3) A brief statement of why you are interested in proteomics and how the conference will benefit your long-term goals.
How do I apply? Applications will be accepted through the US HUPO website through December 12, 2024.
When will I know if I received a travel award? Applicants will be notified of their status on December 20, 2024.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to complete your application, which is due by December 12th, you will need to fulfill ONE of the following criteria:
A) Attach your completed abstract submission for US HUPO 2025
B) Attach a write-up for your abstract that will be submitted during the January 6-15 late breaker period.
If you are chosen for an award and you have not submitted an abstract by the January 15 late breaker deadline, the award will be rescinded.
