Need Help with Child or Dependent Care During the Conference?

US HUPO values the diverse backgrounds and responsibilities of its members and is pleased to offer limited financial support to help offset family and childcare-related expenses associated with attending the annual conference. Up to five awards of $500 each are available to eligible members, including students, postdocs, early career professionals, and others as appropriate.

Undergraduate Travel Award 

Application Requirements:

  • You must be a undergraduate or postbaccalaureate student to apply for an award.
  • You will need to provide a preliminary or completed abstract (maximum of 300 words) with your application.
  • A letter of recommendation from a mentor/PI is required.
  • You do not have to be registered for US HUPO 2026 to apply for the award.
  • You do not have to be an active member of US HUPO to apply for the award.
  • If you have already registered and receive an award, your registration fees will be refunded.

Winners will receive:

  • Complimentary registration to US HUPO 2026 Conference
  • Two night hotel accommodations
  • Up to $500 in travel expense reimbursement
  • One-year US HUPO membership
